Wonderful museum. Very immersive. The temporary exhibitions are always great. There is a gem of a find, their cafe. You have to ask the front desk to let you in and it’s a beautiful terrace with a view of the city. I really shouldn’t tell you this as it is so nice and quiet and quaint.
The exhibit on the lausanne treaty was very informative and eye opening. Thank you for a great job done!
If you live in Lausanne, it's a must see.
You can understand the reason why its urbanistic situation is what it is now, and learn the historic background of its evolution, through photos, movies and descriptions. A mock up of the town in its late middle age, occupying an entire hall, is probably the most attractive element in the exhibition.
Really interesting museum to learn more about Lausanne. The model is fascinating, you can try to recognize streets and places you might now.
A lovely location and an interesting museum, but a bit confusing because the heterogeneous collection of items is not explained in a clear fashion on not very legible signs. Still worth a visit.

So much fun to visit and the audio visual guide is really good!!! After the visit be sure to visit the Notre Dame cathedral and climb all the way to the top!!! An unforgettable view of Lake Geneva and the Swiss Alps is sure to stay with you!!! 😀 …
